I always hold out for the most beautiful and alchemically evolved stones and crystals. This small batch of sun disks falls right into that category. These are rare when they are brilliant, symmetrical and not broken.

Pyrite has the ability to “pyritize” other natural objects. In the case of the sun disk, the sulfur and iron crystallize at a horizontal vector because they are compressed between layers of shale. Spreading out into golden crystalline growth on the horizontal is extremely resonant with spiritual work with the land. They are spectacular in on-the-body treatment as well. Pyrite sun disks have only ever been found in 7 locations in the world! This is another stone that used to be plentiful, but because of the limited supply, there are fewer left to obtain. The value and preciousness are rising in our consciousness.
